Model sustainability in human resources, operations, and teaching and learning

This fall, Highline College welcomes 14 instructors to tenure-track appointments:

  • Yay-Hyung Cho (Psychology) completed her PhD and MA both in Social Psychology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Cho’s BA in Psychology was earned from Korea University.
  • Christina Couch (Nursing) earned her MS in Nursing at Seattle Pacific University. Ms. Couch’s BSN is from Washington State University.
  • Samora Covington (Psychology) completed her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and BA degrees from Seattle University in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
  • Aleya Dhanji (Physics) earned her PhD and MS degrees in Physics from Ohio State University. Dr. Dhanji’s BS in Physics is from Stanford University.
  • Nicole Filler (American Ethnic & Identity Studies) holds a PhD and MA in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a BA in Political Science from George Washington University.
  • Jennifer Heckler (Honors) earned an MA in English Rhetoric, Composition and the Teaching of English from the University of Arizona and both a BA and MA in English from Eastern Washington University.
  • Rhiannon Hillman (English) holds an MFA in Creative Writing, an MA in English, and a BA in English Literature from Sonoma State University.
  • Tom Humphreys (Counseling) earned his MA in Applied Behavior Science from Bastyr University. Mr Humphreys also holds a BA in English & Psychology from The Evergreen State College.
  • Ikran Daad Ismail (Education) holds both an MA in Curriculum & Instruction as well as a BA in Early Childhood Family Studies from the University of Washington.
  • Aaron Moehlig (Chemistry) completed his PhD in Chemistry at the University of California in Riverside and his BA in Chemistry from Albion College.
  • Shelly Page (Accounting) earned her MS in Accounting and BS in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. She also holds a BS in Criminal Justice Administration from East Texas State University.
  • Justin Taillon (Hospitality & Tourism Management) holds an MBA from the University of Guelph. Mr. Taillon also earned a BS in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Houston.
  • Lisa Voso (Communication Studies) holds an MA in Communication & Leadership from Gonzaga University, a JD from the University of Maryland and an MA in Mathematics and Political Science from St. Mary’s College.
  • Lauren Wugalter (Chemistry) completed an MS in Chemistry from the University of Washington. Ms. Wugalter also earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of Arizona.
