High School Geofencing Campaign
Starting November 1, we began geofencing all 15 high schools is our service area with digital ads. Campaign will deliver display ads to anyone with a web-enabled mobile device and location service on, within the boundaries of each school.
Purpose: General awareness among high school students, increase enrollment among students just graduating from high school.
November Highlight: During the month of November, over 200 students who saw our ad on their phone visited campus, either Building 6, 8, 29 or 99.
NCM Theater ads
We continue to run our updated 15 second on-screen, pre-trailer ad in four area theaters: Auburn 17, Century Federal Way, Kent Station 14, and Southcenter 16.
Purpose: General awareness, increase admissions.
NCM Digital component
We also continue to run multiple web display ads to complement the in-theater ads. The ads appear on mobile and desktop devised of those who have visited the above four theaters with their mobile device’s location service turned on.
Purpose: General awareness, increase admissions.
Pandora
Combined display, audio and video ad campaign. Started October 21 and runs through December 21, 2018.
Purpose: Promote degree and certificate options and reminder of winter quarter start date.
Federal Way Mirror
Quarter-page ad in November 9 Salute to Veterans edition.
Purpose: General awareness and Thank You to those who have served in the military.
Burien Magazine
Half-page ad in Winter 2018 edition (mailed to all residents of Burien on November 27).
Purpose: General awareness and promotion of our five applied bachelor’s degrees.

Other
This #GivingTuesday we raised money for the Highline College Foundation’s Emergency Textbook Fund. Facebook received 16 donations totaling $641; through the email campaign, 20 people donated $1,355. Inspirus Credit Union started off our efforts with a generous $5,000 donation, which gave us a grand total of $6,996 raised.
Highline College Alumna Debra Entenman was elected for Legislative District 47 State Representative Pos. 1.
