Board of Trustees: Chair Sili Savusa, Dan Altmayer, Fred Mendoza, Bob Roegner present. Vice Chair Sharmila Swenson absent

Executive Cabinet: Josh Gerstman, Summer Korst, Emily Lardner, John R. Mosby, Aaron Reader, Danielle Slota, Tim Wrye present.

Bruce Marvin (AAG) present.

Action Item

Action item a: approval of changes to WAC 3121-300-010 and WAC 1321-300-200

Trustee Mendoza motioned to repeal Title IX policy and procedure as outlined by WAC 1321-300, sub codes WAC 1321-300-010 and WAC 1321-300-020, and to approve the newly updated internal Highline College Title IX Policy and Procedure on an emergency basis. Trustee Roegner seconded. Motioned passed.

Action item b: Emergency adoption of proposed supplemental Title IX provisions in the student conduct code

Trustee Mendoza motioned to to adopt on an emergency basis amendments to the student conduct code to add disciplinary procedures necessary to implement the Title IX changes. Trustee Roegner seconded. Trustee Altmayer abstained. Motion passed.
