Core Theme 1: ACCESS, Reduce Barriers and close equity gaps to access for all community members
- Facilities:
- Is preparing for the Office of Civil Rights visit in November 2025 by developing a volunteer compliance plan as well as conducting an audit of classroom spaces for Access Service compliance
- Public Safety:
- Starting Winter quarter 2026, the Public Safety office will be reviving the alternative transportation incentive for credit students. Students that forgo a parking permit and show proof of at least $20.00 of transit expenses (with a maximum of $60.00) within the quarter will receive a pre-loaded ORCA card matching their expenses.
Core Theme 2: STUDENT LEARNING, Increase educational success, collaborate to improve
- Facilities:
- Is drafting the relocation plan for the Welcome Center to be approved by Executive Cabinet
Core Theme 3: COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: Create a more inclusive working environment and a more valued, visible relationship with communities we serve
- Public Safety:
- In anticipation of the Link Light Rail Station opening in December, the Public Safety office has developed a plan that will help the college adapt to commuters using our parking lots. The plan addresses an easier method for transit commuters to purchase a daily permit, mitigate potential overnight vehicles and ensure the officers can distinguish between our Campus View resident guests and non-community members parking overnight.
Core Theme 4: CULTURE & CAPACITY: Promote a campus culture which fosters equity and inclusivity supporting employee growth and development, and institutional capacity for transformation
- Budget:
- In-person budget training was offered to all budget managers on Oct 24th. 28 people attended.
- Budget Advisory Council had a great meeting with the accreditors for the mid-cycle visit On Oct 21st
- We performed a successful physical audit of seven selected items purchased with P CARDS during the first three months of FY 25-26
- Two members of the purchasing team attended the PAC (Purchasing Affairs Council) meeting on October 16th and 17th in Yakima, Wa

- Quarter 1 financial statements were completed October 13
