  • Rashad Norris’ last day is Oct 15th.
  • In regular communication with the Governor’s office regarding new trustee appointments. Awaiting final approval. Will announce once appointments are official.

Review of preliminary minutes of the regularly scheduled meetings of September 09, 2021

Unscheduled business

  • Reminder of the upcoming Transforming Lives scholarship review, trustees will have Oct. 25th – Nov 2nd to review.
  • Budget update – effective July 1st of 2022 our classified staff will receive a 3.25% COLA increase. Additionally, the bargaining unit employees will receive a lump sum payment of $2,000 prior to the end of this fiscal year.
  • ACCT contingent meeting information shared for interested attendees. Need to select one registered voter to attend the Pacific Regional Meeting AND the Senate meeting.
  • Financial Aid award contact made by parent to Trustee Altmayer. Inquired on financial aid award status: students that applied before time are currently being packaged. Blocks have been placed on the student account to keep students from being dropped. Communication is being made with students on where they are in the process. Questions posed asking if low-staffing or ctcLink has added additional challenges. VP Reader noted that the processing of CARES funding, learning ctcLink, and the return to campus have created additional factors in processes but systems are in place to keep students from being dropped. ED Wrye spoke to ctcLink noting that aid information is visible in ctcLink as well.

Meeting adjourned at 9:45AM
