Special Meeting Minutes

Study Session Call to order: 9:08

Roll call:   

Board of Trustee Chair Fred Mendoza, Trustee Dan Altmayer, Trustee Sharmila Swenson, Trustee Bob Roegner via conference line, President John Mosby, Interim VPAA Emily Lardner, Secretary Amy Sndyar.  

Approve minutes

Approve minutes of the regularly scheduled meeting of February 20, 2020

Motion to approve minutes: Trustee Swenson so moved, Trustee Roegner seconded the minutes be approved. Motion passed.  

Opportunity for public comment

Persons wishing to testify must sign up and limit testimony to three minutes

No comment

Executive Session

For the purposes of discussing the performance of public employees, no action will be taken

Chair Mendoza makes announcement to public that they will enter into executive session at 9:10 a.m. and would adjourn at 9:45 a.m.

Tenure Recommendations 

Trustee Altmayer having given due consideration to the recommendations of the Tenure Review Committee, the Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the recommendation of the President, made the motion that Probation be continued for the following first-year probationers:

  • Ronda Durano
  • Daryllyn Harris
  • Tammi Hilton
  • Faye Malingson
  • Monica Twork

And that probation be continued for the following second-year probationers:

  • Yay-Hyung Cho
  • Christine Couch
  • Samora Covington
  • Aleya Dhanji
  • Nicole Filler
  • Jennifer Heckler
  • Rhiannon Hillman
  • Ikran Ismail
  • Aaron Moehlig
  • Shelly Page
  • Justin Tallion
  • Lisa Voso
  • Lauren Wugalter

Trustee Roegner seconded the motion

Interim VPAA Emily Lardner recommended approval.

All were in favor, the motion was carried and passed unanimously.

The board discussed whether the next meeting would be held virtually and decided that it remained to be determined.
